April 25, 2026, Picnic table and bench view of Trout Brook

Trout Brook flows through the park, and this is a great place to relax on a bench and listen to it burble over the rocks.

Big junction out in the prairie. Pit toilet with a shelter.

This is not something you see at all campgrounds, that's for sure. A solar powered well and a place to cut your own firewood.

One of the neatest places in the park. An old stone gate, a windmill blade set, a plow, and a shelter. Neat when they can preserve a bit of what the parks land was before it was a park.

Usable for paddling the river and staying overnight.
