The viewpoint is actually a point where the trail crosses the Gas Line and meets the naturally preserved area, forming a treeless row in the middle of the forest. The Oregon Nature Center has education programs and offers guided visits to learn more about their preservation and sustainability work. Dogs are welcome, but they must be leashed.
