Among other things, Junction 31 is Wildeshauser Geest Nature Park. The junction system signposts cycle paths in the towns and communities in the Oldenburg district and the Wildeshauser Geest Nature Park. The cycle path guidance system is approximately 1,200 km long, connects neighboring towns and districts, and allows for individual "cycling by numbers." Adapted from the Dutch model in Germany. As a cyclist, you can use the junction system for your tour planning. Simply note all the junctions along the chosen route and, for example, cycle to the number 4 – 6 – 3 – 5 – 15 – 4. The Hünensteine of Steinkimmen (also called Steinkimmen I, II and III) are Neolithic passage graves with the Sprockhoff numbers 927, 928 and 929. They were built between 3500 and 2800 BC as megalithic structures of the Funnel Beaker Culture (TBK). The passage grave is a type of construction of Neolithic megalithic structures that consists of a chamber and a structurally separated, lateral passage. This form is primarily found in Denmark, Germany and Scandinavia, as well as occasionally in France and the Netherlands. The Hünensteine are located southeast of Steinkimmen, a district of the municipality of Ganderkesee, in the Oldenburg district in Lower Saxony - in the area of the streets "Alter Postweg" and "Bergedorfer Landstraße". The Stenumer megalithic tomb dates back to the Neolithic period (3,500-3,000 BC). Unfortunately, it is not completely preserved, but you can easily imagine what it once looked like. It is one of the many megalithic tombs on the Road of Megalithic Culture. More information at: https://www.strassedermegalithkultur.de/de/station-33-grosssteingrab-stenum
