The path would be good if it didn't suddenly turn into a forest path. Which was then also completely destroyed by huge forestry vehicles. Doable with a gravel bike and mountain bike. With a road bike, you can forget it completely.

The railway viaduct was originally slated for demolition by its owner, Deutsche Bundesbahn AG (German Federal Railway). Dedicated citizens successfully campaigned for its preservation. Today, the viaduct stands as a symbol of civic engagement. The citizens' association Viadukt e.V. was founded for this purpose and also participated in the development of the program for Chemnitz to become the European Capital of Culture 2025. https://www.chemnitz.de/de/unsere-stadt/stadtentwicklung/interventionsflaechen/stadt_am_fluss/chemnitz_fluss/viadukt
