Bürger Bädle Since 1931, the small, dreamy and peaceful outdoor swimming pool has existed in the Bürg district of Winnenden. Located directly at the edge of the forest, it is one of those places that is very difficult to leave after a hot and busy summer day. The sunbathing lawn offers everything your heart desires. Lots of sun, shade, and a fantastic view far beyond the rooftops of Winnenden. The members of the Bürger Badverein voluntarily take excellent care of your well-being.

From the former Bürg castle, the 23-meter-high defensive tower remains – clearly visible from afar. Gottfried von Winnenden had it built in 1181 on the commanding mountain spur. The once mighty Alt-Winnenden castle complex fell into ruin during the 15th century and was dismantled in 1538, with the exception of the defensive tower, the keep. The district of Bürg now occupies the site of the castle.

It's just a church. Although the ice cream parlor in Rechberghausen was much more interesting to me after the first 60 kilometers 😅
