The William Powell Bridge, built in 1985, spans 3,611 feet along the Rickenbacker Causeway, connecting mainland Florida with Virginia Key. This high-level fixed bridge brings over the water with a dedicated green lane for biking and a walking path on both sides, separated by a waist-high concrete barrier. The bridge also provides scenic views of the bay, passing boats, and the downtown skyline.
