The Lefthand Trailhead is the main access point for a popular system of mountain biking trails on the eastern end of Lefthand Canyon. More of a large pullout than a true trailhead with a parking lot, there are no bathrooms, picnic area, or water stations here. There are restroom facilities just a little down the road east of here at Buckingham Park if you need them.

Nugget Hill is a short, but steep, open hill just off of Lefthand Canyon Road near Rowena, Colorado. From the road, you start climbing immediately through ponderosa pines up the steep hillside. The views begin to open up as you near the summit, which itself provides amazing views of the Indian Peaks Wilderness and Continental Divide and is a nice alternative to some of the more popular and busy hiking trails and summits nearby.
