This is an extremely popular trail that spends half its time amongst the pines and half its time along the mountainside with phenomenal views south of Mount Falcon. The path is dirt singletrack with just enough roots and rocks to keep things interesting. The trail can be icy or muddy in the early season, and in very muddy conditions may be closed. You can check for seasonal closures here: https://www.jeffco.us/1332/Mount-Falcon-Park
