Aurora Reservoir spans 800 acres of water surface and provides opportunities for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and even swimming at the designated swim beach. There is a very nice perimeter trail where you can explore the area surrounding the reservoir.

There are three beaches at Aurora Reservoir: the scuba beach, the boat beach and the swim beach. At this location you can find the swim beach. There's beautiful sand, a snack bar, shades and a play ground.

Cherry Creek State Park, in Denver, Colorado is a large, popular park right in the heart of the city. There is an 880-acre reservoir where you can boat, fish, paddleboard, and swim.
