The current eastern endpoint of the trail is much further down the canyon. But komoot does not allow me to create a highlight for the entire sectiion that is open as of Nov 25, The endpoints of the currently existing part of the trail are difficult to get to on a bike, but the trail itself is great, and once finished it'll be much greater

Peaks to Plains Trail is a fairly new concrete multi-use path. The entire way is very scenic as you follow Clear Creek deep into the canyon. There are places to stop and view the canyon along the way, or even head down to the shore and take a dip into the clean water.

The trailhead is right at the lifts for Echo Mountain. There is a wide shoulder on the westbound side of the road from where you can see the ski lifts. Heading back towards to the beginning of the parking area, you will find the trailhead going up the mountain as it does a couple quick switchbacks and then navigates through the trees.
