Accumer Mill - Gallery Windmill, built in 1746 The mill is 16 m high, the cross-shaped wing, with two louvres and two sails, measures 20 m, and the compass rose is 5 m. The barn belonging to the mill, built in 1846, has been completely restored. As a café and meeting room, it can accommodate up to 80 people. I really enjoyed the opening baking day on April 27, 2025. Thanks to the great team who take excellent care of visitors on "Mill Days"! It's worth making a detour on such days. OPENING HOURS AND DATES From April to October, Baking Day takes place every third Sunday of the month from 2:00 p.m. with takeaway sales and a café outside the mill. Further information about special events at the Accumer Mill (e.g., baking days, mill festivals) can be found in the Schortens City Events Calendar.
