If you don't know the town of Mettingen, you should check it out. It's simply a beautiful village with a C&A history.

From the Vinte farming community and then turning right towards Westerkappeln / Seeste you will experience top asphalt between the fields and with very little traffic.

Since 2023, the church square has had a lovely little park with plenty of benches and a place to play boules. Boules can be rented (for a €20 deposit) at the EisCafé Dolomiti. The church square also has a small playground and a water feature. The surrounding restaurants invite you to linger. The church square and the town church also have a listening station.
