It is a paved and unpaved trail system and is a great way to get across town on a bike. It also interconnects with several other recreational trails on the way. It is simply a great biking route.

Thunderbird Conservation Park is open from sunrise to sunset daily, and the gates are locked at sunset. There is no entry fee, and pre-registration is not required. There are a lot of good hiking trails and riding trails that have good scenery.
