My father was eight when the bodies were washed up "on his doorstep". For me, it remains militarily questionable whether this attack really had to happen. But the point remains: Never again.

Far and wide, only dog walkers, no other mountain bikers around. A nice alternative in the heat on the beach. I practiced braking and riding down slopes extensively with my 6-year-old (wearing full chest/knee/elbow protection and helmet). We practiced on the larger tree stump slope there, and he ended up riding down it safely and in a controlled manner. Thank you for an unexpected tour in Timmendorfer Strand.

The path leads through a deep, eroded riverbed with many roots. Fortunately, it was dry where we were.
