Beautiful little church right on the edge of the forest... the hiking trail leads directly past it into the woods.

Far and wide, only dog walkers, no other mountain bikers around. A nice alternative in the heat on the beach. I practiced braking and riding down slopes extensively with my 6-year-old (wearing full chest/knee/elbow protection and helmet). We practiced on the larger tree stump slope there, and he ended up riding down it safely and in a controlled manner. Thank you for an unexpected tour in Timmendorfer Strand.

The path leads through a deep, eroded riverbed with many roots. Fortunately, it was dry where we were.
