The town hall is a striking, historic landmark in the center of Vejle. The current neo-Gothic brick building was constructed between 1878 and 1879 according to the designs of architect Carl Lendorf and later restored by the famous architect Martin Nyrop. The current building is already the fourth town hall in the city's history. The very first town hall from 1460 stood at Gammel Torv and burned down in 1530. It is located on a historically significant site where a Dominican monastery stood in the Middle Ages. A special feature is the town hall bell that rings daily. It is the same bell that called the monks of the monastery to mass in the Middle Ages. It bears a Latin inscription, translated as: "I call the living, I wake the dead". On the first floor of the town hall is the city council's meeting room. Furthermore, the building is an extremely popular venue for civil weddings due to its elegant halls and romantic ambiance. The building is located directly on the lively pedestrian zone of the city on the Town Hall Square. Directly in front of the main entrance is a shallow, ground-level water fountain, which serves as a meeting point, especially in summer. https://www.visitvejle.de/vejle/reiseplanung/das-rathaus-von-vejle-gdk607929

The bicycle sculpture in the roundabout near Vejle stands as a lasting tribute to the city's role in the 2022 Tour de France. The sculpture symbolises how central cycling is to the city's identity, with the bicycle at the heart of the roundabout illustrating that "everything revolves around the bicycle."

A gem on the outskirts of Vejle. Great for birdwatching. The raised part of the path is pedestrian prioritised, so dismounting is required when passing. https://www.vejle.dk/borger/mit-liv/natur-og-udeliv/udflugtsmaal-og-naturperler/kongens-kaer/
