Large campsite with everything you could need. Some things a bit outdated. But with the best radio station in the public spaces (shower, kitchen, etc.), there was always someone singing along!

The first documented mention of the estate dates back to 1495, when it was owned by the nobleman Joachim Bast. Due to difficult inheritance and lease conditions and the resulting tax arrears, the crown imposed enforcement of the property in 1689. Over the centuries there have been constantly changing ownership structures and conversions. Today's three-winged building, including the garden overgrown with mighty trees, is completely surrounded by a moat and can be reached via two bridges. https://www.danskeherregaarde.dk/nutid/nordskov

The popular author Morten Korch is buried in the cemetery. Bishop and hymn writer Thomas Kingo is also buried here. The church was dedicated to St. Lawrence in the Middle Ages and is first mentioned in 1239, when Pope Gregory IX granted it an indulgence.

The unveiling party took place on June 15, 1920. In the following years, a similar party was held every June 15 as in 1920. The flagpole is probably still used to mark anniversaries.
