Named after 1993 World Downhill Skiing champion Kate Pace, who was born in North Bay, the Kate Pace Way is a varied multi-use trail. Expect to share the well-surface path with joggers, cyclists and inline skaters. The Way runs for 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) and takes you through urban areas, parks, woodland and to the city's waterfront.

Lee Park is a nice little green space in North Bay that's crossed by the Kate Pace Way, a multi-use trail named in honour of Olympic skier Kate Pace, who was born in the city. The park also contains Veteran's Field, which has memorials that pay tribute to members of the armed forces.
