This steep-sided summit is one of the highest points in the Nangang Mountain range and offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and the north face of Mount Monadnock. You can access Thumb Mountain from the Harriskat and Thumbs trails which are well-maintained and marked by the Harris Center for Outdoor Education, which also provides water and washroom facilities along the way.
