The Max Liebermann Road leads us to Noordwijk Beach, which greatly inspired the German painter. A very pleasant seaside location with dunes and various beach clubs.

Back at Afsluitdijk with a view of the lighthouse and the sea. The lighthouse is an icon of the Noordwijk coast. The lighthouse was first lit in 1932. The tower is over 33 meters tall and is open to visitors on Sundays from April to October! Tip: cycle the last stretch along Queen Wilhelmina Boulevard and finish with a well-deserved snack and drink at Nomade Beach House.
