Nice cycling route, but first about 10 km along the highway, then cycled around the lake. There are not many benches along the way; if there were, they were either broken or standing in the water. At junction 45 you can have lunch and coffee.

The most beautiful crossing of this canal between Lelystad and Almere, and connects nicely towards 'the great staircase'

A beautiful dike-like cycle path through a strip of nature—you wouldn't expect this in the Flevopolder, where most cycle paths run straight ahead. You'll have to zigzag between cowpats, though.

Nice quiet cycle path. From Almere you can cycle to Lelystad North.

Beautiful winding cycle paths through the nature reserve of the Great Bustard. Along the way, cows keep you company and you can count the windmills. Tip: the best thing is to have the wind in your back here, to meander along the paths.

Recently new asphalt. So new that it was actually still closed and I had to sprint via the verge against an excavator that was ploughing the aforementioned verge.
