Hankey Mountain rises in the Appalachian Mountain range close to Churchville; the peak is 3520 ft high. Lookout Mountain is one of the best viewpoints that you will find along Wild Oak Trail. The lookout has breathtaking views of the Shenandoah Mountains and North River Valley. The trail to there is often used by mountain bikers also, so stay alert as they may come barreling through.
