Great place along the river for coffee and cake. Although off the main road, this cafe is on NCN Route 51 which is smooth tarmac route along the Ouse. Benefits from seating outside the cafe so that bike doesn't have to be locked up, reducing the faff time.

I'm using this route on the ride from Wootton to Sandy via Danish Camp. It's got a bit of everything, I like it.

Nice lake that can be found in Marston Vale Millennium Country Park. There are plenty of trails around the lake to chose from, all with that great view of the lake.

As well a a good cafe you will find two Pan Rollers that were fitted inside a grinding pan. The grinding pan was designed to crush the larger lumps of clay from the quarry into small particles

There are some secluded spots, accessible via gaps in the shrubbery, great way to rest your feet or have a quick spot of lunch. Particularly peaceful on a warm sunny day.
