Great little cafe but super busy when the weather is good. Alongside the canal that offers great walks and runs, head up the hills for more of a challenge!

This is (I believe) the oldest Tithe barn in either the South West, or the county?! I cant remember 🤦♀️ so not much help!! BUT, it's definitely worth poking your head in, it is a lovely space and you can sort of feel the past, and I love that.

Really nice and very welcome cafe serving breakfast, lunch and snacks through the day in a garden centre / nursery surrounding. Just a short cycle from the Kennet and Avon towpath

The Kennet and Avon Canal flows from Bristol to Reading. This section east of Trowbridge is a narrow, mostly singletrack gravel tow path that follows the very edge of the canal. There are normally a few boats around and you're likely to meet some cyclists/dog walkers/ other runners but it's normally quiet and good for some fast running if you fancy it.

Nice little cafe on the tow path. It's managed by the Canal and Rivers Trust so by eating here you put a little money back into the upkeep of the canal paths. They serve a good selection of drinks, cake, food and ice cream and they have inside and outside seating. You can take a break and watch the lock in action. Open Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon 9:30 - 16:00.
