Really fantastic single track and gravel bridleway descending north east towards Shoreham. Starts off wooded and opens up to much wider tracks later on.

Great community cafe - very cycle friendly and lots of cake/flapjack options for refuelling. Always check the opening hours as it usually closes at 14:30 at weekends.

As of July 2025 the Villa is intermittently open, and free as walking around at ground level is not permitted (issues with mould). You can, however, see the site from a viewing window, & be told the history of the place. Stuart was my "guide" and was highly knowledgable and interesting.
