Steeple Hill is a brutal, calf-shredding wall of chalk that laughs at your fitness goals. Hikers will face a steep, unyielding grunt up the ridge that demands trekking poles and frequent "photo breaks." For bikers, it’s a grueling, granny-gear climb with loose terrain that easily spins out your rear tire.

The Grange Hill descent is a gravity-fueled thrill that will rapidly test your brake pads and your nerve. Hikers can expect a steep, knee-crunching, chalky plunge with panoramic views of Kimmeridge Bay, while mountain bikers get a fast, rattling, advanced-level drop prone to loose ruts. Hold on tight.

Looking down from Grange Hill, Kimmeridge Bay looks like a stunning, prehistoric masterpiece. From up there, the fossil-rich waters look less like a geological marvel and more like a massive, glittering puddle left behind by a very confused, very ancient dinosaur.

Nice track above Lulworth; with great views over Lulworth cove and hamlet, mind the trackters,

Very slippy about 7 miles into the ride. Wet limestone was exposed in places onto the path and was treacherous

Visited in July 2024 and very easy to lose the bridleway (heading East to West). At the point where there is a gate with a flattened wire fence, stick to the side of the fence further up the hill. Bulls may be blocking the path without much room to get around them.
