Massive Viaduct over the River Par, in the, Luxulyan valley. Looks like its been recently repainted, unlike the nearby Treffy Viaduct. The path to it is great, following the old tramway, so its pretty wide, and pretty easy going

A short ride/walk upstream from Ponts Mill

Not a big crossing, but a good drinking spot for a pup, and I just love those old clapper bridges.

The woodland is beautifully cool on a warm spring or summers day with stunning views in the fall and winter, can’t go wrong!

You go through two wide open fields with lovely views of farmland and favoured fishing holes.

There was once a china clay works here called Pontsmill. Back then the cycle path was a tramway. In peace and tranquility now, the path takes you right next to remnants of the Luxulyan Valley's industrial past.

The remains of a 30 foot waterwheel used to haul carts up the nearby tramway incline. Complete with viewing platform and old gears.
