Ready money cove. Beautiful beach. Dogs are allowed most of the year. Check signage.

This is a secluded beach near the village of Haven. It's a bit less commercialised than some of the other nearby Cornish beaches so is a great spot if you're after a quieter seaside experience.

October 25, 2023, Tregaminion Church

Built between 1813 and 1815, the Tregaminion Chapel of Ease was created to save Menabilly parishioners the long walk to church in Tywardreath. Take a look above the door and you will spot a carving of the Rashleigh Arms that was found when the foundations for the church were being dug.

The grotto here was built in the late 18th century. Although you can't access it, you can see the octagonal folly from the beach. The area is called Polridmouth Bay which is pronounced Pridmouth.

The church bells still ring every 15mins throughout the day and night so take some earplugs if you are staying nearby and want a decent nights sleep. Lovely church though…

November 23, 2022, Polkerris Beach

Polkerris is a secret cove in Cornwall which has a lot to offer. A pub, seafood restaurant, cafe, watersports, clear blue waters and a wooded backdrop. It makes a great place to start or finish a run.
