Garway hill is one of the real highlights of the Herefordshire Trail, a proper hill with very fine views in all directions, and ponies!

I appreciate that during dry weather this won't be a problem, but after recent rain it was still a surprise to find a woodland path that was actually a stream, and a stile was set across that stream!

There isn't much left of Kilpeck Castel, but there is enough to give you a sense of its situation and what it must have been like. It does offer fine views to the north, south and west, and would have dominated the village. Incidentally the photos of the carvings come from the nearby church, not the castle.
