An easy hike with kids and a wonderful place to visit. It is truly a magical natural place. Can be crowded at times. Please leave it cleaner than you found it.

Although the primitive parish church, documented in the 10th century, was located in the Bertrana farmhouse, the current parish church of Santa Maria del Corcó corresponds to the baroque building built in the 18th century in the new town of l'Esquirol born near the old royal road from Vic to Olot as a result of the population growth experienced in the area. Church of a single nave with chapels on the side walls. The nave is very spacious and the presbytery is covered with a cross vault. At the foot of the nave is the choir, decorated with paintings except for the ceiling. On the facade we find a rectangular entrance portal with stone framing, flanked by single niches with the figures of Saint Joaquim and Saint Anne. A circular oculus opens above. A triangular capcer ends the facade. The bell tower rises at the north end of the building. The primitive parish temple was built between 1721 and 1743 under the supervision of Josep Moretó, and twenty years later its tower bell tower with a viewpoint and ogival openings that frame the bells, the only surviving element of the temple after the Civil War of 1936-1939. The current parish church responds to the reconstruction carried out by the architect Josep Mª Pericas from 1940.

Tabular natural platform and cliff at 1303 m, 3-4 km long and 200-300 m wide. It is located between the municipalities of L'Esquirol and Pruit (Osona) and Joanetes (Garrotxa). At its feet is the Mas d'Aiats house, which gives number to this area.

Old Isiats farmhouse which has been known since the twelfth century, specifically from the year 1195. This magnificent house gave its name to the cliff known as Aiats. We find it registered in the fire of the parish and term of Santa Jolia de Cabrera, in the year 1553; at that time a certain Joan Axats lived in the farmhouse, from which the name of this Aiats must have been derived.

Cabrera is part of the Sierra of the same name, also formed by Pla d'Aiats, Les Vores de Masellera, Montcau, Puig dels Llops and Puig d'en Bac. At its top we find the remains of the Castle of Cabrera, it was a finished castle that defended the Esquirol valley. The castle of Barrés depended on it, in the same municipality of L'Esquirol. There are very few ruins left, practically limited to the base of a round tower. There is also a geodesic vertex and a reference round table illustrates the majestic 360-degree panorama: Montserrat, La Mola, Rasos de Peguera, Pedraforca, Puigmal, Bassegoda hill, Canigó, Albera, the Gulf of Roses, Montseny ... A superb watchtower!
