I rode from Betxi to Cabanes (approx. 40 km) on this cycle path. The route itself is in excellent condition regarding surface, signage and width, and it rides very well. But it is permanently very loud due to the motorway running right next to it.

Nice village near Nules. It has a via ferrata and the upper area is attached to the mountain.

Roundabout at the entrance to Cabanes in its eastern part. In it is the Bar Branto, a place where we can have a drink if we feel like it.

Located on the Via Augusta, today Camí dels Romans, the Cabanes Roman Arch was erected in the 2nd century AD. as an honorary-funerary monument, possibly linked to a Roman villa located near the road itself and the monument. The pillars are preserved, on which sits a semicircular arch formed by fourteen voussoirs. It has a height of 5.8 m. although its original height must have been around 7 m. The triumphal arch is missing the entablature and the spandrels, having found ashlars from the arch in the houses of the town. The arch is located 2 km from Cabanes in the direction of Benlloch. Starting from the Cabanes arch, you can follow two routes on foot or by bicycle. The one to the north reaches Vilanova d'Alcolea, in whose town hall a milestone is on display. The one to the south leads us to La Pobla, where there are other milestones. The distance of both routes is about 8 km.

Chodos (in Valencian Xodos) is a municipality in the region of Alcalatén (Castellón). In the center of the town is its castle, of which only the remains of a tower and walls remain.

Population of the Alcalatén region, in the province of Castellón (Valencian Community), very popular as a hiking and cycling destination, due to its proximity to the Penyagolosa National Park. The origin of Xodos is Arab, and after the Reconquest, King Jaume I granted the lordship to the Aragonese nobleman Ximén de Urrea. The cultural heritage of Xodos includes the parish church of San Pedro Mártir, from the 17th century, which has a nave with three altars and a bell tower, and the castle and walls of Xodos. It is believed that the whole municipality was surrounded by a wall, of which now only the tower of homage remains. The geographical location of Xodos, perched on a rock mass on a precipice above the Alcalatén river valley, was of great strategic importance. The fortification allowed the defense of one of the natural routes that communicated with Aragon.

Very steep slope in the section that goes up to Pobla Tornesa along the bike path. Be careful on the way down if the asphalt is wet.
