Excellent construction and excellent views. However, I advise against going down the T1 trail offered by Komoot that goes directly to the village. It is better to go around the track, as I did.

One of the most beautiful and best preserved medieval towns in Navarra. Highlights include its famous "siege of Artajona", the church of San Saturnino, the basilica of Our Lady of Jerusalem and, on the outskirts of the town, the renowned Dolmens of Artajona. A town that has a lot to offer and is worth visiting.

This church - built in Romanesque style - was not dedicated to one of the many people whom we venerate as blessed or saints and ask for their heavenly intercession with God; but dedicated to the incarnate Son of God Jesus Christ, our redeemer and savior ("San Salvador").
