In order to operate the planned additional service on the currently largely single-track line between Velten and Neuruppin, several sections are needed where trains can meet. One of these is the 6.7-kilometer section between Kremmen and Beetz-Sommerfeld. This will require the relocation of a second track, the modification of three level crossings, the expansion of four crossings, and the construction of two new signal boxes. The new track is designed for speeds of up to 120 km/h. More information about the project can be found at https://www.i2030.de/nordwest/.

Peasant splendor, as one would not expect here. Always worth a little break in the café in the shade of the trees with a view over the square.

Idyllic small lake with a beautiful path along the shore close to the water. Again and again benches to linger. There is also a spacious bathing beach with a large lawn and jetty into the water. Small restaurant right next door.
