The Hünstollen Tower is a beautiful destination for a hike. It can be reached via various paths, and you'll be rewarded with a truly fantastic view from the top. An information panel provides interesting facts.

Unfortunately, it's been closed to visitors for a long time. The tower doesn't look as massive as the other one in the courtyard, but it should be somewhat taller. There's no viewing platform, just small windows at the top. The view would probably be limited, if one could even go up there. Hopefully, the tower will reopen someday. Then we can be sure. Even so, I think it's beautiful – every observation tower has its own architecture and history. I'm always fascinated by them.

Without an entrance fee, you can peacefully climb the wide tower stairs to the viewing platform. Inside the tower, you'll find various exhibits and information. There are several levels leading to the very top. A massive wall, large wooden stairs, and a very wide viewing platform offer excellent views in almost every direction. It's a rewarding experience after cycling up the steep hill.

Nice café & beer garden with coffee and home-baked cakes in the center of Eddigehausen.

Top location for a break with a panoramic view. I have cycled here many times to take a break on the wall with the beautiful view. In the last few years two people have fallen off the wall (through carelessness). Hopefully the view will remain accessible.
