The Episcopal Museum of Vic, Houses a large number of works of art from ancient times, Paintings, murals and carvings of religious images... It was inaugurated in 1891, by Bishop Josep Morgades, who then presided over the Archaeological Society of Vic. This society had created the lapidary museum on the occasion of the discovery of the Roman Temple of Vic, in 1882, the base of the Episcopal Museum.

The current façade of the cathedral dates from this stage.
