The trail in the forest is difficult to ride even with a full-suspension MTB - smaller and larger stones stick out of the ground and make the section a bumpy affair - it brakes completely. It's not cobblestones, but rather roundish stones on the path - but they've been growing in for a long time and are sandy in between...

Very nice, because you can't see the Elbe for long stretches in Lower Saxony.

The tower of the church is one of the oldest in the Lüneburg district. An architectural monument of Lower Saxony importance: the tower of the St. Vitus Church in Barskamp. In some places the walls are more than two meters thick. Built stone by stone in the 10th century. The west side was repaired with red brick over the centuries because of falling boulders.

Beautiful tour through forest and meadows. Easy single trail for the descent. The tower is great in any season.
