🌳 Starting from the Château des Allinges car park, this hike allows you to reach Mont de la Maladière via a pleasant forest path, sheltered from the heat. The climb is steady and takes place in a beautiful wooded atmosphere before reaching the summit, where a few clearings offer pretty views of Lake Geneva, Bas-Chablais and the Prealps. The route is quiet, little-frequented and ideal for a quick outing or after work. With no technical difficulties, it is an excellent hike to enjoy nature while offering a beautiful viewpoint. In addition to the spiritual aspect, there are many benches around this chapel which allow you to eat a frugal (or not) snack.

The Col de l'Encrenaz is 1429m high, which is 120m lower than the Mont Forchat, which can be easily reached from here. The path is steep, but not so steep that you can't walk any more.
