Delle's emblematic house, also called Maison Lourdel, is today the town hall. The building, listed as a Historic Monument, was built against the northern wall of the city in 1581 at the request of the provost and bailiff Louis Lourdel. It has undergone numerous modifications over the centuries by its different owners. The wooden gallery you see against the fortification wall was added in 1725. The Feltins are the last owners of the house and sold it to the city in 1993, which had it restored for five years before moving there. However, the building is in danger of collapsing, its structure requiring major strengthening work following an earthquake in 2003.
