Originally a fortified moated castle, of which the surrounding walls and a tower from 1574 still exist. The castle that now stands was given a baroque makeover from 1709, of which parts of the old complex are still preserved in the north wing. The south wing was built from 1719. As the former property of the Imperial Baron von Seckendorff, Weingartsgreuth Castle has been owned by the heir, Baron von Seckendorff-von Witzleben, since 1962. https://wachenroth.de/ortsteile/weingartsgreuth/

Very tasty sauerbraten with dumplings and red cabbage. The pork fillet with mashed potatoes is also highly recommended. The cozy beer garden invites you to linger.

In a cozy, Franconian atmosphere, you can enjoy excellent food (excellent pepper carp and leggy dark beer on tap!) and spend a sociable time here at the Landgasthof Weichlein! 🍽🐟🍺👌🏼
