Perched 360 metres above the Mediterranean, the medieval village winds through vaulted passages to open onto a square presided over by a 300-year-old elm tree. In June, the narrow streets are lit by hundreds of snail shells filled with olive oil, the famous Procession aux Limaces. It's worth the climb.
