A mountain village nestled at the foot of Pierre-Sur-Hâute. It's a crossroads that provides access to the Béal and Chansert mountain passes. Built on the Forezian mountainside, this village is sure to charm visitors with its typical architecture. But above all, it's the natural splendors of the landscape surrounding this village that make it worth the detour.

The Jasserie du Coq Noir is managed as an association. Lunch and dinner served all summer, remember to book, the place is worth the detour! Concerts and events throughout the season.

Quick to reach the Col du Béal, but the route is taken by car

One of the most beautiful passes in Forez, a most pleasant climb whatever the slope! And the descent is also pleasant. If you are in Gravel, there is a junction which allows you to reach the Col du Béal and which is magnificent. Otherwise you can go ski touring, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in winter or hike while stuffing yourself with blueberries in summer!
