Kirrwiller is an Alsatian village in the Rhine Valley, in the Grand-Est region, about 35 km northwest of Strasbourg. Situated on the edge of the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park, the village has approximately 540 inhabitants, and its location in the Rhine Valley offers ideal conditions for agriculture. The village center, with its old traditional houses, has a certain charm. The village also has two religious buildings, a Protestant and a Catholic church. The Protestant Church of Saint-Remi dates back to the late 18th century. Construction of the new Catholic church, built in the late Gothic style and dedicated to Saint Martin, began in 1911.
