Magnificent place! The Lande Forêt pond is located in the heart of the Grais departmental forest. By bike, it is accessible via a secure route from the Briouze-Bagnoles greenway in Orne Normandy. An interpretive walking trail and wooden decks allow you to go around the pond. Picnic tables, bicycle boxes and a shelter are available at the entrance to the site.

From here you have a beautiful view of the Marais du Grand-Hazé, the largest marshy area in the Orne. It is labeled Sensitive Natural Space and can be visited on foot via a 7 km signposted loop.

It is the largest marsh in the Orne with 200 hectares. It is a real treasure trove for fauna and flora, where nearly 170 different species of birds use it as a breeding site. The best thing is to meet the staff who maintain the marsh: Camargue horses and Scottish cattle!
