It is difficult to find a path to the pool, you need some climbing skills. When you have managed it, it is wonderful! Attention! The marked way there is probably no longer maintained/marked. You can still recognize a footpath, but everything is overgrown with macchia scrub. Our legs are quite scratched.

Was ok to cross the river in January at about 4 km- taking off shoes and trousers is necessary . A kind hiker had put up some stones, where it is most easy to cross. But we could not find the path on the other side- many many trees have fallen down etc . We had to go back same way. But still a lovely walk

At the moment (March 2024) you need to be very careful on the path from Ota along the river. Several landslides have washed away large parts of the path. The scree fields should be crossed with caution. Unfortunately, this applies to the path before and after the bridge.
