I can absolutely recommend it. There is a gap a few meters above the passage between two posts where you can push the bike through.

Yes, Salgesch has several easier options. While many routes offer varied terrain, you can find paths through the vineyards or along ancient irrigation canals known as 'bisses' that provide a more gentle running experience. Look for routes with lower elevation gain for a relaxed jog.
For a more challenging run, consider routes that venture into the hilly terrain shaped by a prehistoric landslide or deeper into the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park. An example is the Gorwetschgrat Trail – Sierre-Zinal Picnic Area loop from Ruine du Château de Beauregard, which is a difficult 13.3-mile (21.4 km) trail with over 1500 meters of elevation gain.
The region is rich in natural beauty. You can run through extensive vineyards, explore the largest contiguous pine forest in the Alps within the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park, or follow trails along the Raspille River with its impressive rock formations. Nearby, you might also encounter dramatic gorges like the Dala Gorge, which features thermal springs and a steel footbridge. Consider exploring highlights such as the Thermal Springs Walkway Dalaschlucht or the Thermal Water Bucket at the Dala Gorge Bridge.
