Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined considerably. Dry chicken, dry fries. The steak wasn't medium, and the burger patties were far too dry. Complaints aren't accepted, so they don't even try to improve. We should have read the reviews beforehand. Then the manager came and presented us with the bill without asking, which meant we were kicked out.

💪 Bouzonville Fitness Trail – Exercise between Forest and Meadows The fitness trail in Bouzonville is quietly located on the edge of the forest and offers a beautiful blend of nature and physical activity. Several stations with classic exercises such as balancing, pull-ups, and stretching exercises invite you to specifically develop strength, endurance, and flexibility. 🌳 The trail runs through a small, pleasantly shady woodland and is ideal for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities – whether as a quick workout or as a varied part of a hike. 📍 Celtic House Rehlingen-Siersburg – Hands-on History This reconstructed Celtic farmstead, created from finds from the Saar-Moselle-Metz region, stands in the middle of the forest. It demonstrates how Celtic tribes lived, built, and buried their dead over 2,000 years ago. 🏡 The complex includes a residential building, burial mounds, and information panels – erected with the support of local schools, communities, and clubs. An exciting learning center with a real connection to regional history.

✝️ Field Cross near Schwerdorff (Moselle) This beautifully framed field cross stands free on a hill near Schwerdorff, framed by two striking trees and offering a sweeping view of the rolling hills of Lorraine. The base bears an inscription with a date – many such crosses were erected in the 19th century as symbols of faith or in commemoration of special events. Tip: If you're hiking in the area, be sure to pause here for a moment. Especially in the evening light, the cross offers a tranquil, almost meditative atmosphere with a view of the expanse of the Moselle region.

Makes you think about the millions of fallen soldiers... and you wonder why? I always have in mind the young people behind these simple numbers.
