St. Donatus Church is located in the center of Larochette, right on the market square. It was built between 1860 and 1862 by architect Charles Arendt. The murals in the choir are by Nicolas Brücher (1874-1957) and are a feast for the eyes. St. Donatus Church in Larochette is currently closed for maintenance and can only be viewed from the outside.

The castle overlooks the picturesque village of Larochette, giving it a very special character. The first buildings on this site date back to the 11th century and are situated on a promontory of Luxembourg sandstone, dominating the valley of the Blanche Ernz, a tributary of the Sûre, by about 50 meters. A fire in 1565 reduced all the buildings on the site to ruins. The house in Créhange is the only one to have been restored in a more consistent manner in the 1980s. Temporary art exhibitions and occasional concerts fill the historic walls with life. Last admission is around 5:15 PM. Nearest parking: on the grounds, at the entrance. Nearest bus stop: Larochette, Spuerkeess (300 m)

The Basilica of Saint Willibrord (Luxembourgish: Willibrordbasilika, German: Sankt Willibrordusbasilika) is a basilica in the Luxembourg town of Echternach. It is the monastery church of Echternach Abbey and the parish church of the Echternach Saint-Willibrord Parish Region. The basilica is dedicated to the missionary Willibrord(us). The basilica is built of Mullerthal sandstone, in shades of green-gray, yellow, and red. The building has a rectangular plan, four towers, and gable roofs. On the west side is a double-tower facade, the square towers of which are set back slightly from the Neo-Romanesque entrance. Above the entrance, the facade features a rose window (Probst brothers) and a coat of arms in relief (designed by Charlotte Engels, executed by Henri Demuth). The coat of arms depicts the arms of the former Reichsabtei (double-headed eagle) and the city of Echternach beneath the papal insignia: the conopeum and the keys of Peter. The banderole bears the motto "Sub manu sulius Dei" (Under the hand of God alone). The two rear towers, demolished in the 19th century, were rebuilt during the post-war restoration. They stand on either side of the choir and are lower than the two front ones.

From the free parking lot above, it's about a 5-10 minute walk. The first large building is the Café am See (Lakeside Café), with a very large covered patio and walkable stone blocks in the lake.

There are lovely playgrounds for children on both sides of the lake. The playground on the east side, with its ships and airplanes, is almost unbeatable. There's even a dog playground behind it.
