It is worth mentioning that projects are currently underway that connect this coastal path directly to the older, hilltop part of the city of Fermo (La via del mare project). The project aims to create a safe, car-free connection between the shoreline (Lido di Fermo / Marina di Fermo) and the historic city center located on the Sabulo hill (approx. 319 m above sea level). The path will serve as an "offshoot" from the main coastal route, allowing tourists and residents to divert from the beachside route and safely reach the city's historical monuments, such as Piazza del Popolo or the Roman cisterns.

Lido di Fermo is about 4 km of flat route along the Adriatic Sea — ideal for any type of running. No climbs, with the sea nearby and practically unlimited possibility to extend the training in both directions. Following this path south, across the bridge over the Ete Vivo river, you will reach Porto San Giorgio, while running north (via the bridge over the Tenna river) you will connect to the route leading to Porto Sant'Elpidio.

It's worth running in Lido di Fermo at sunrise. The sea is calm then, the beach is almost empty, and a real light show begins over the Adriatic. Outside the season, it's even better — fewer people, less noise, more space, and that special moment when the day is just beginning. The Lungomare becomes deserted, the air is cooler, and every kilometer tastes a little different. It's really easier to start the day here with a few kilometers.

A splendid natural panoramic view at the foot of Balzo Rosso. From here you can see Pizzo Tre Vescovi and Monte Acuto, the Ambro Valley, and the imposing Monte Priora.

Nice cycle/pedestrian bridge, but you have to pay attention to pedestrians who often walk on the bike lane.

Attractive and touristic point located in Torre di Palme with a romantic love story

From a cycling point of view it is not the best, there are cracks in the asphalt and some depressions, furthermore the cycle path is narrow, especially on the Faleriense side, when you meet a cyclist going the other way you have to be very careful; pedestrians also cross frequently....
