The Rosenbühl is the highest point in the area. Before, when the trees weren't that tall, you could see Tanna in the distance. But it was a long time ago ...

Tänner local mountain, beautiful refuge

Whether by mountain bike, touring bike, skis or simply on foot - the Rosenbühl is the highest elevation in the old Schleiz district near Tanna and is worth a visit! A few years ago a shelter was built - and there are also benches and tables outside where you can linger. There is also a "summit book" in which you can write your name. Some names keep cropping up here... You used to be able to see Tanna from here. But that was many, many years ago. The trees have simply grown too big. A tip for the hard-core: nature lovers meet here every year at midnight on New Year's Eve to welcome the new year.
